Biography
Fresh from high school, Jade Argent wrestled his way to the top of some British and Japanese based wrestling circuits and appeared on one or two of the lesser promotions in the US very early on in his career. This Australian enigma was a high flying risk taking maniac and was taking the small-time independant wrestling world by storm.Along with the glory comes the lifestyle. It is a well-known fact that alot of wrestlers - particularly those who take huge risks - turn to painkillers to help them keep up with their heavy schedules and to manage the physical toll they are taking every time they step foot in the squared circle. Argent was different however, he took on the rockstar lifestyle and almost killed himself with cocaine, meth and heroin. His performances dropped through the floor and nobody was interested in seeing the train-wreck perform anymore. It was a typical fall from grace that you'd expect from anyone who gets a whiff of fame and lets it go to their head. He hadn't even made it yet, and his career was a car crash. Nobody wanted to employ him, all of his friends had distanced themselves from him, he had nothing to offer. He retreated to his home and tried several times to get clean, unsuccessfully. He just couldn't kick the crutch. Then his wife left him. For a time, he went completely off the rails, but then it dawned on him that this isn't how he pictured his life panning out. A year of rehab later and he was clean, and he began training to return to the ring, in the hopes of getting his life back in order. That was 5 years ago. He was recently headhunted wrestling in Australian indies by the Fans Wrestling Organization based out of Seattle. He later signed with All-Star Championship Wrestling out of Montreal, simultaneously wrestling in both.
