Biography
Klein and Ed went through three different versions of the Jeremy Odesa's "Dungeon" training academy, which was run by part ACW Owner High Flyer. They made their debut in an independent league GWA, with Klein wrestling singles matches and winning a few titles before Klein being introduced as his tag team partner. They then entered IML3, as the Disposable Heroes, nicknamed Food and Drink. They would garner success, winning the IML3 championship. In 2006, they joined LoC, gaining their tag team championship belts in their first match before the promotion shut down it's doors. Since, Edwards has been trying his hand at the movie business, starring in various B-Movie comedy and horror pictures. Klein has found steady work as a referee, for both the Squared Circle and eventually the Fans Wrestling Organization. Now they return to the ring, and to All-Star Championship Wrestling. Tag Team Notes Relationship to Each Other: Klein is very loyal to Ed, no matter how bad Ed treats Klein(which he does very much so). Think Of Mice and Men when dealing with their relationship. Ed will rag on Klein, but ultimately it's to make him stronger. Ed will even lose his temper and attack Klein. Say, if Klein were to cost them the tag team championship in a big match, Edwards may attack Klein and seem as if the team split. But the next week, Klein will be back at Ed's side as if nothing had happened. No matter what Ed says or does, Klein will stay by his side. Tag Team Finisher: SMACK-OW~!(Ed hits a spinning wheel kick, Klein nails a leg sweep, aka total elimination) Music Depending on the week, their music will change to reflect popular culture. Suggestions include... "Pants on the Ground," "Don't Stop Believing" by the Glee Cast, but their current go to song is "Rabbia e Tarantella" by Ennio Morricone starting at :58 seconds in. Manager A large cardboard box Klein carries with him a large box everywhere he goes. It's his safety blanket. Whenever he gets in a state of extreme panic, he will sit Indian style and place the box over him. Fans will grow to call it "Foxy Boxy" over time. Appearance: He has dyed short spikes blonde, but the roots have grown out to reveal dark black hair. He wears a monocle to the ring alongside numerous gold rings, which he takes off before each match. He dresses in all gold, because, "He's Golden." He wears a tank top in a gold color with gold cargo pants, along with a black belt. A Hollywood star from the walk of fame is on the both sides of his tank top singlet. On the back, his name "Ed" is written as if it were a basketball jersey. He wears gold sequin boots. He has green eyes. Eventually, he will have his own luscious gold sequin robe, ala Ric Flair. Favorite Quote: “Uhhh… you’re in my light. I need three point lighting to accentuate these fantastic features and my stylish wardrobe….Yes, fine, I know, my hair’s not great, but listen, I’m gonna get that taken care of. There’s this stylist in LA who knows this stylist in New York who knows this stylist in LA who’s totally going to fix this.” Gimmick: Hollywood Wannabe Ed is a star in waiting. If you've seen La La Land, you know where I'm going with this. He is inept, incompetent, and ultimately will never make it in Hollywood as anything more than a Dolph Lundgrun.(Granted, in reality, Derek very well make a transition into film. In wrestling, he plays this character intentionally bad.) But he aspires to be a Tom Cruise, a Tom Hanks, just a famous Tom of any kind. If he ever got involved with Mega Job it would be EPIC. If you want an example of a character who believes he's something he's not, look no further. Tag Team Specific Notes: Ed & Klein will start off the match playing rock paper scissors to determine who starts the match. Oddly enough, if Ed wins, he will always choose to wrestle first. If Klein wins, he will always choose to go to the apron, effectively making their game of rock paper scissors just a fun little diversion for diversions sake. Ed will blind tag himself in, Klein will blind tag himself OUT of the ring. Never the other way around, or at least close to never. IF Ed has been beaten for like, fifteen minutes and looks dead and Klein can blind tag to get the momentum back, he will, but he will be incredibly tepid about it. It is an extreme rarity.
