With his seemingly endless list of sporting talents and skills it was fair to say that young Christopher Moliano had the world at his feet.Born in Bournemouth on the South Coast of England to an English mother and Italian father in the summer of 1984, Chris’s potential as a sporting superstar was recognised from a young age. In physical education lessons at school Chris soon discovered that he simply excelled at just every about every sport his teachers taught in class. Chris starred in Sunday league football teams and was offered several youth contracts from the biggest English clubs, extremely lucrative ones too for such a young boy.
It wasn’t just sports either; Chris was always at the top of his class in tests in all subjects from mathematics to religious education. Despite the constant praise he was receiving for his all natural talents his parents never really took much notice and certainly did not give him the praise his efforts deserved, not that this bothered Chris as he had all the friends he could want in the world.
Growing up with such natural ability in everything he tried led to an ever-inflating ego and by his teenage years Chris had it in his mind that he was the undisputed king of the world. His big mouth led him into trouble in the form of playground fights and he was obviously punished by the teachers for his actions. Chris of course saw even the smallest punishment as unfair, after all everyone else was just jealous of him, he had everything – the looks, the brains and all the talent. Chris was seldom seen without a beautiful girl on his arm, talking to whoever would listen (and even some who would rather not) about just how great he was.
After leaving school and then college Chris was then faced with an extremely difficult career choice, just what was he going to do? There would be no shortage of takers for his talents as he has been in contact with various sporting teams almost since he was old enough to walk. Which is perhaps why his chosen career had taken many by surprise, particularly his father who tried desperately to talk him out of it, but to no avail.
Christopher Moliano had decided to become a wrestler.
Chris had long been a fan of wrestling, tuning in to all the wrestling shows on TV, and now he wants to try it himself. The way he saw it he had everything one needs to be a huge star in the business, he was dripping with charisma, he had the movie-star looks and muscular toned body…there was however one thing he lacked.
He couldn’t wrestle.
Stepping into the ring for his first training session Chris was certain that he would take to the sport like a fish to water, just he had done with everything he had ever tried throughout his entire life, but this was different, to put it bluntly – he sucked. Not that he was ever going to admit it, as far as Chris Moliano was concerned he was the greatest wrestler ever to walk the face of the earth. One can hardly blame him for his arrogance, after all he has the strength, agility, speed, all the tools to not just be a wrestler, but THE wrestler. With so much potential given time he was sure to develop into a wrestling legend…wasn’t he?
Maybe not.
Four years, a losing effort in fWo Survivor 4 and a failed stint in 21Wrestling later Chris Moliano stepped back into a wrestling ring to hone his craft. His failure to make it right away - the first time in his life that he had not tasted immediate success in anything, had hit him hard. He lost the will to compete, to train or do anything other than bang the worthless sluts he picked up at dingy bars on an almost nightly basis.
His Father's illness has finally given him the urge to make it once more. This time he is not taking anything for granted, his natural ability could only take him so far and now that needs to be combined with good old fashioned hard work. Chris Moliano is going to be a wrestler once again, and this time he will be THE wrestler. He has never been more confident - and this is confidence rather than the cockiness he was famed for - about anything in his life.
Confidence breeds excellence.
Moliano will be excellent - Perfection Personified.
